Master P understands that Wendy Williams is a crazy woman with a TV show that needs to entertain people with her megalomaniacal side show act, but he is fighting back against her slander--because he foolishly thought they were friends. After the talk show host slammed his upcoming reality series about his fighting family, the one-time word smith slammed her right back. The hip-hop mogul probably hopes that Wendy Williams' summer foray into stand-up comedy will lead to her quitting her talk show, but it is doubtful that she is that funny.
Wendy Williams has grown so use to making fun of celebrities' alleged personal problems that she probably never thought that her former friend Master P would even respond to her propagating TMZ rumors as gospel truths.
Wendy didn't have any problem condemning Master P for dragging his poor wife through the reality TV mud during their on-going divorce (via Madamenoire):
"I am so disappointed in Master P. I think that he's better than reality TV with all the drama.
"He's currently developing a show about the split with Sonia and the nasty custody battle."
Not taking kindly to that kind of talk, Master P claimed that Wendy Williams was a liar, who should have asked him what was up personally, instead of spreading a whole bunch of salacious BS all over the airwaves, hypocritically just to get rating (via Madamenoire):
"I thought Wendy Williams was my friend...I understand that her job is to entertain gossip but how could she keep picking up TMZ gossip as if it was real news when she should have contacted me directly if she was really concerned about my family, or me like she claims.
"The Miller Dynasty is founded on integrity and family values. We are not perfect by any means; we go through similar struggles like any family."
Wendy is just too ambitious to worry about who she is offending or which friends' lives are being ruined be her unsubstantiated gossip.
This summer Williams is going to be making her foray into a completely new field of entertainment--despite having no real experience in the form--stand-up comedy.
According to the New Pittsburgh Courier, Williams is headed out west to hock her wears to vacationing gamblers in the desert:
"The daytime talk show host is making her comedy debut at The Venetian in Las Vegas this summer.
"The show, titled Lipshtick: The Perfect Shade of Stand Up, will be the first of its kind to exclusively star an all-female cast."
Is Wendy's addition to the show supposed to be one of those hipster-eqse ironically funny things; or is this going to have more of that Charlie Sheen cocaine train coming of the cocaine track, derailment for your entertainments kind of vibe to it?
