Once again, Top Gear's outspoken host, Jeremy Clarkson, finds himself in hot water. Not only is Clarkson rumored to be getting a divorce from his wife in 2014, but he's also being called a racist after revealing what he named his black dog.
Clarkson sparked outrage back in April when he posted photos of his new dog (who is black), along with the caption "This is the latest addition to the pack. He's called Didier Dogba."
The name was a play on footballer Didier Drogba's name. Given Jeremy's past comments, many felt that this was a racist joke.
Jeremy has denied these allegations and defended his use of the name to the press, while using the opportunity to bash liberals (via The Independent):
"'You've named your black dog after a black football player,' liberals screamed. 'You are Reinhard Heydrich.' No, I'm not. I like the dog very much and it seems fitting, as a Chelsea fan, I should name him after a man whom I believe to be an all-time great."
Jeremy isn't just battling racist allegations. Multiple outlets have reported that he and wife Francis are getting a divorce, after having lived separately for years. Though Francis doesn't seem that broken up by things, as Daily Mail reports:
"She is reportedly in the midst of divorcing her husband of 21 years Jeremy Clarkson. But on Thursday marriage woes seemed to be the last thing on Frances' mind as she hit the shops in West London for a spot of retail therapy.
"And judging by the haul of bags she had on her it was a successful trip - perhaps picking up some garbs for a new wardrobe to mark the start of her single life."
