It's been rumored since the turn of the year that American Idol Carrie Underwood's decision to renege on her baby promises to her husband Mike Fisher have put an unbearable strain on their marriage. But according the recent reports, the country music phenomenon has finally given in to the idea of being lbeing barefoot and pregnant. Underwood must have finally realized that you can't be 100 percent devoted to your career and you family all at the same time--hopefully in time to save her failing marriage.
Carrie Underwood hasn't been talking near as much about the family that she plans to grow with her Nashville Predator husband Mike Fisher as she used to, but rumor has it that may all be about to change.
After months of gossip that the couple were doing to their best to avoid one another in lieu of spending their moments intimately, an insider revealed to Showbiz Spy that Carrie had finally given in and re-agreed to have little Fishers with Mike:
"She realized Mike was ready to throw in the towel on their relationship over the baby issue...He's fed up and frustrated and feels betrayed by Carrie.
"She realizes a baby is the only thing that can save their marriage."
According to the couple's close friend, Mike was doing his best to deal with the delays and disappointments, until he realized that Carrie was trying to put off getting pregnant indefinitely:
"It all came to a head earlier this spring when Carrie told Mike that she was mulling several acting offers that would keep her busy and away from home through the end of the year.
"Mike blew a gasket. He told Carrie that she needed to choose between her career and her marriage."
"Mike has never held her feet to the fire like that before...Carrie seems to have finally come to her senses. She's ready to settle down and make family her priority."
"After the huge blow-up, she promised Mike that either she'll be pregnant or they'll initiate adoption proceedings before 2014 is out."
Jesus...that woman will do anything not to get pregnant.
