Bacon Loving Vegan Arian Foster Twitter: Adorable Tweets, Light-Up Shoes [UPDATE]

The NFL's king of social media just might be Arian Foster. From anointing Tim Tebow as God's number one draft pick to sharing the loss of his bacon virginity, to loving light up shoes, Foster is the most adorable purveyor of Tweets.

A few weeks ago Foster made ten thousand foodies swoon when he announce that he had recently tried bacon for the first time (via TMZ).

Foster even generated a small controversy when he reportedly failed to pay up on a bet over the game Fun Run (via Classicalite):

"The drama began on April 25th ... when Arian challenged the whole internet by tweeting 'Fun run king. Come get washed.' Apparently Martyn was feeling dirty because he tweeted back to Arian 'I bet you your jersey you can't beat me,' along with a screen shot showing he was the third ranked 'Fun Run' player in the world.

Allegedly he lost three games in a row but has yet to pay up and has yet to comment."

In addition to the Fun Run "scandal" Foster has previously given the nod to unemployable Tim Tebow when a fan asked "who does God want to be the #1 Draft Pick?"

Recently Foster added to the hit parade (via Twitter):

"I'm glad the #cosmos is making light of global warming. Best show on TV.

"At the airport and the intercom said 'mr lotionchuck to gate 47 please.' Had to a phonetic misread."

(retweeted):

"@bwebster76: It's kind of bull**** that light up shoes are strictly an option for children."

In a time when public figures can so easily take advantage of communications technologies and use these tools thoughtlessly it's refreshing to see a professional athlete be thoughtful and whimsical and funny all at the same time. Keep on Tweetin' Arian!
