Amazon's 8.9-inch Kindle Fire HD has not even been released, but the company is reporting they can't keep up with high demand, reports techradar.com.
The Kindle Fire HD's 8.9-inch version, which is set for a Nov. 20 release. Orders placed on Thursday expect to arrive on Dec.3. The two 8.9-inch versions the device were available for preorder since Sept. 7 this according to techradar.com.
"With the holiday season upon us, we're excited to make our $299 Kindle Fire HD 8.9 inch available early," said Dave Limp, vice president, Amazon Kindle. "We think customers are going to love web browsing, email, gaming, watching TV shows, reading magazines, and more on the large, stunning HD screen, with fast Wi-Fi and exceptional audio."
Amazon said in a press release that the 4G LTE-equipped Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch model will follow its Wi-Fi only counterpart next week, when it starts shipping on Nov. 20.
The 8.9-inch tablet starts at $299 for the 16GB, while the 32GB model is available for $369. The 4G LTE model can be picked up for $499 for 32GB and the 64GB version is being sold for $599.
Techradar.com also reported that the cellular equipped model features a $49.99 4G tablet data package from AT&T which includes 12 sessions up to 250MB each, along with a $10 Amazon Appstore for Android credit and 20GB of Amazon CloudDrive storage.
The 8.9-inch is 1920x1200 and comes in 16GB, or 32GB if you buy in for 4G service, it comes with more RAM and 44 percent faster than the original Kindle Fire, according to Amazon.
