Dwayne Wade is on the verge of a Miami Heat 3-Peat and a wedding this August to actress Gabrielle Union. But first things first; the Heat need to tackle the formidable Indiana Pacers. Indiana started playing consistent basketball just in time to take an early lead in the NBA Playoff Series with Miami, and the Pacers' Lance Stephenson brought a little trash talk D-Wade's way.
At a press conference before the game 23 year-old Lance Stephenson took a shot at D-Wade (via USA Today):
"The Miami Heat, including stars Dwayne Wade and LeBron James, refused to get dragged into Lance Stephenson's inflammatory comments about Wade's often-sore right knee.
"'D-Wade, his knee is kind of messed up, so I have to be extra aggressive and make him run.'
Asked for his response prior to Game 1... Wade said 'I don't respond. The talk should be about basketball - the game. I don't do the talking back and forth in the media.'"
While Wade and the Heat prefer to do their talking on the court Wade's August wedding to the stunning Gabrielle Union will be a lavish affair. Union won't dish yet on specifics but promises that it will be extravagant (via Huffington Post):
"'...Definitely not toned down, per the wishes of my groomzilla... D's very involved in every detail. My dude is having a princess moment. Me? I did the wine tasting, and I've said yes to the dress. In fact, I've said yes to a few of them. That's the joy of getting married to a man who loves clothes and wardrobe changes: You can have more than one dress.'"
