Just a very short time ago Olympic legend, Sochi figure skating commentator Johnny Weir was very public and adamant about the abuses he had to suffer through during his marriage to husband Victor Voronov. Just months ago Weir was demanding a divorce as well as custody of the dog. But thankfully for Tëma the breakup battle has been canceled, for now.
When Olympic medalist Johnny Weir gave an interview to the Today show as his divorce to his husband Victor Voronov started to heat up, he didn't seem to be holding much back:
"You would never see a mark on my body but the damage that was done to me, mentally, was crippling.
"I was controlled on almost every front of my life. Friends were cut out of my life, acquaintances, managers, even down to my own mother.
"Sochi was one of the hardest times in my life...My husband was behaving very erratically. The majority of the time off camera I was in tears."
But now things have calmed back down and the limelight has faded to its pre-Sochi intensity the couple are reportedly giving it another chance.
According to Star Magazine they are willing to pull their marriage back together, but only if Johnny is willing to take some back some of that dark black shade he's been throwing:
"Their nasty divorce has been escalating since March, but Johnny Weir and Victor Voronov had a sudden change of heart.
"The couple are giving their marriage another go, under one condition: The skater much publicly apologize for bashing Victor in the media."
While there is still no telling exactly what that apology is going to look like, Johnny's recent Twitter sentiments about love and relationships did seem fairly sweet:
"Love is dangerous. Love is safe. Love is ugly. Love is beautiful. To love hard is the greatest gift, even with all its flaws. Keep shining."
On second thought...not only is that awful, but Johnny Weir just might have a serious learning disability.
Love is hungry. Love is full. Love politely wipes its feet on you welcome mat. Love violently takes a shit in your bed.
What drivel.
