The Flash is here! The brand new full length trailer for the upcoming DC Comics Arrow spin-off has been released. In the trailer we get a closer look at Glee’s Grant Gustin in the suit. We also get to see the villains, Weather Wizard and Reverse Flash in action. The trailer also features Justice League of America members The Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and Vibe.
The Flash will get a little help from some of his friends along the way. Not only will Cisco Ramon, A.K.A. Vibe and the rest of the Star Labs crew be by his side but the Green Arrow will also make a guest appearance. The Emerald Archer can be seen in the extended release trailer. Amell latter revealed on Facebook that he is infact in the very first episode:
“Hey... You know that new show called The Flash? I'm in the pilot.”

Gustin made a statement to the press about what it is like playing the classic hero::
"He's fun to play. He's likable. I would be his friend. I haven't had the opportunity to play a character that I would actually enjoy spending time with."
Geoff Johns, DC comics chief creative officer, told Comic Book Resources about Gustin’s portrayal of The Flash:
"He's earnest. Grant as an actor, he's brought more to Barry Allen then I think we've seen before, especially seeing him in the days of when he's taking his first steps. He's got that heart. He's got humor. He's got compassion--Barry was always a nice guy. He's the guy that stops, makes sure everyone's alright and then keeps going. Grant embodies that."
The Flash premieres this fall on The CW.
