SPOILER ALERT: Disney has official released the very first teaser trailer for the new live action Cinderella movie, due out in 2015. Pretty soon we will get to see a few more Disney Princess in live action form. Last week during the season finale of Once Upon a Time we got our first glance at Frozen’s Elsa in Storybrooke. Now fans are wondering if Idina Menzel and Kristin Bell will reprise their roles on the show.
Frozen is coming to Once Upon a Time. Kristen Bell was recently asked byE! Online: if she wanted to reprise her role from the hit animated film on the TV show, where she responded:
“That would be unbelievable. I love that character of Anna so much. She is exactly who I wanted to see when I was five years old. She is really close to my heart.”
Co-executive producer, Adam Horowitz recently sat down with E! News about Anna casting & the rumors about Kristen Bell reprising her role:
“To be perfectly honest we haven't even begun starting casting, there are a lot of amazing people out there and we have to find them….Well Kristen Bell was Anna. We saw the interview you guys did with her and we're going to start our process. [In regards to] Kristen Bell, there's no bigger fans than us, whether it be Frozen or Veronica Mars.”
Horowitz also opened up about how they managed to talk Disney into letting them use the Frozen characters:
“It felt like it was in the wheelhouse of what we wanted for the show and we were very excited about it, and we pitched the idea to the studio network and we were very fortunate that they gave us the go-ahead...So there's a lot of trust all around that we need to live up to, we know that this is a beloved characters and a beloved movie. My five-year-old daughter would be the first one to raise the pitchfork. So you know we're very excited and humbled by the opportunity.”
