Hope Solo Domestic Abuse Incident With Fiance NFL Tight End Jerramy Stevens

Hope Solo, United States Women's National Soccer Team goalkeeper is caught up in a domestic abuse case with fiancé Jerramy Stevens on Monday.

According to ESPN, Stevens was arrested on Monday for a fourth-degree domestic violence assault, but was not charged. The former NFL tight end was released by Kirkland Municipal Court after a judge said there was no evidence connecting to the assault. Solo reportedly got a cut on her elbow at a party where eight people were involved in the altercation. Authorities were called to the Seattle home at 3:45 a.m. according to Kirkland Police Lt. Mike Murray.

Murray told the media the officers contacted several people at the home and said they appeared intoxicated and refused to cooperate with law enforcement. He went on to say that the officers arrested Stevens for investigation of fourth degree assault due to the information and observations made at the time.

Marcus Solo, Hope's older brother called 911 and told police that two or three unknown men at the party were to blame for the disturbance. Marcus said he used a stun gun on one of the men who fled before the police could arrive.

According to ESPN, court documents the police found Stevens "who appeared to be hiding" lying between a bed and a wall. The former Tampa Bay Buccaneer told officials he was sleeping on the floor and didn't hear the fight but officers found blood on Stevens' shirt.

"If officers find that an assault may have taken place, then we have to make an arrest on who we determine is the primary aggressor," Murray said.

The couple were supposed to be married on Tuesday after their two-month courtship. It was said the two were arguing over whether they should live in Washington or Florida.

In 2010, while playing for the Bucs, Stevens was found with marijuana in his possession. He was immediately released by the team.
