‘Voice’ Coach Usher Talks New Song with Chris Brown After Assault Admission and Jail Time

Chris Brown has admitted to the 2013 Washington assault charge parole violation. Brown was sentenced to a few more months in jail. Now the Brown’s friend, Usher is opening up about working with Brown. Breezy will be featured in a new song on The Voice coaches upcoming album.

Usher and Chris Brown have teamed up for Usher’s upcoming new record. Usher recently spoke to Revolt TV about working with Brown:

“The song that we did together, I think it answers a lot of questions. There's a lot mystery, I think, about a lot of things and the reality is we all are human. And though we may all experience hardship, it's in those times that people should really rally and remember why you fell in love with the artist, why you fell in love with the person.”

Usher has not been able to talk to Brown since he was sent to jail, but he did open up about Brown’s mindset prior to that:

“We have not been able to talk, but when he first came out of rehab, there was a lot of conversation back and forth and he was in a really good place, good positive place.”

Brown’s friend Teyana Taylor recently spoke to Power 105.1’s “The Breakfast Club about adjusting to prison life:

“He’s doing good, man. He’s in good spirits. It’s his birthday, man, he’s in there on his birthday. But, his whole spirit, like, when he get out, he gonna be good. He’s not in there bitter and harping. It is what it is. He’s becoming a better man.”

“Becoming a better man?” Haven’t we heard this one before? Are we really supposed to believe that this time? Isn’t that what Brown was supposed to be doing while in rehab? While he was in rehab he won an award for redemption. Is Brown really ready to change? Will he ever change? What do you think? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
