Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes appear to still be just dating, despite weeks of rumors suggesting the pair is engaged. This week, Ryan premiered his new movie, while Macauley Culkin premiered a new Ryan Gosling-themed shirt via Instagram photo.
Ryan will be making his debut as a director for the very first time this year. His new film, Lost River, will premiere in less than a week, and one actor will be noticeably absent-Ryan Gosling. But, as The Daily Mail explains, there are plenty of A-listers in the flick:
"Formerly known as How to Catch a Monster (the title was probably changed to avoid a clash with a toddlers' bedtime book), Lost River is billed as a dark fantasy drama, which features former Doctor Who Matt Smith and Irish actor Saoirse Ronan, as well as Gosling's Drive accomplice Christina Hendricks, and two co-stars from The Place Beyond the Pines, Ben Mendelsohn and Eva Mendes."
Ryan's also in the news this week thanks to Macaulay Culkin. The sexy actor decided to pay the actor tribute...or should we say repay. Mac wore a shirt proudly displaying Gosling, but this isn't the first time the couple has dawned each other's images, as Us Magazine reports:
"Macaulay Culkin gifted the world with an amazing photo of himself this weekend, going 'meta' with Ryan Gosling. In the image posted to his band Pizza Underground's Twitter account, Culkin, 33, sports a white cotton T-shirt bearing the image of Gosling, 33. The black-and-white shot of Gosling shows the actor wearing a similar white cotton T-shirt, but his is adorned with a black-and-white photo of Culkin."
Of course, the real news surrounding Ryan is that, despite months of breakup rumors, Ryan and Eva are still together. And if you want proof, you don't have to look any further than Ryan's necklace, as Daily Mail reports:
"Ryan Gosling doesn't like to talk about his girlfriend of three years Eva Mendes...But he's pretty clever at dropping hints about the gorgeous 40-year-old actress. While standing on the carpet for the San Francisco premiere of his new movie White Shadow, the 33-year-old actor was showing off a silver necklace that had on it a pendant stamped with the name of his girlfriend's dog, Hugo...The couple has not been photographed together since November which has created speculation as to whether they are on or off."
