Miami Heat star Dwayne Wade has baby mama drama at the same time that he is planning his wedding with fiancée Gabrielle Union. Wade, who has sole custody of his children from a previous marriage, is reportedly refusing to take them to see their mom for Mother's Day.
Wade was awarded sole custody of sons Zaire and Zion in 2011 with regular visitations with their mother Siohvaughn. But Wade apparently is refusing to take them to see her on Mother's Day (via BET):
"The drama continues between Dwyane Wade and his ex-wife, Siohvaughn Funches. The NBA player's ex claims Wade is refusing to bring their two sons, of whom he has full custody, to see her on Mother's Day. 'Anything Dwayne and his lawyers can do to make my client's life a living hell, they do,' Funches's lawyer, Lisa Macci, tells Gossip Extra. 'They've announced their intention of denying her a court-ordered Mother's Day visitation, so I'm filing an emergency motion to force them to hand her the children on Mother's Day.'"
While the pot continues to stir on that drama, Wade and fiancée Gabrielle Union are going full steam ahead with their wedding plans. According to Union, her "groomzilla" has been involved in every step of the process (via Huffington Post):
"'...definitely not toned down, per the wishes of my groomzilla,'" Union said of the couple's upcoming wedding. 'D's very involved in every detail. My dude is having a princess moment. Me? I did the wine tasting, and I've said yes to the dress. In fact, I've said yes to a few of them. That's the joy of getting married to a man who loves clothes and wardrobe changes: You can have more than one dress.'"
