SPOILER ALERT: The hit CW series, The Vampire Diaries is all new tonight. There is just one episode before next week’s big season finale. The hit show has already been renewed for a sixth season. However, all of the character’s you know and love might not make it back. Rumor has it that Paul Wesley’s Stefan might take his final bow in tonight’s showing.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled “Promised Land,” reads:
“Stefan and Elena become stranded in a remote location, after escaping from Markos, and he gets philosophical about her relationship with Damon. Meanwhile, Damon sets a trap for Markos; Bonnie admits that she's been keeping the truth about the Other Side from everyone; and Caroline witnesses an unthinkable act of violence by one of the Travelers.”
The Season 5 finale airs next week. The official plot preview for that episode, titled “Home,” reveals:
“Season 5 ends with Damon trying to stop the disintegration of the Other Side. Meanwhile, Elena takes matters into her own hands and demands that Liv and Luke help her; and Markos uses violence against Tyler/Julian to prove that Mystic Falls is under the control of the Travelers.”
Note Paul Wesley’s character Stefan is not mentioned anywhere in the second Season Finale Synopsis, leaving some credence to the rumors that Paul Wesley's character might die.
Play Wesley recently had the life nearly scared out of him in the real world. The actor / director had a gun pulled on him by random stranger. Wesley tweeted about the even, adding some commentary on the gun laws.
“A seemingly random act of a gun being pulled on me yesterday only compounded my deep loathing and disgust for the gun laws in this country.”
The Vampire Diaries is all new tonight at 8:00 p.m on The CW. The fifth season finale airs next week.
