Running Back Arian Foster has been all over social media this week, first Tweeting about his newfound love for bacon, and then responding to a question about who God wants the #1 Draft Pick to be. The answer? Tim Tebow, obviously. Then, Foster challenges the world to a Fun Run showdown, and allegedly loses a bet. Impressive. He's probably not training enough.
So first, on April 30, Houston Texans Running Back Arian Foster posted on his Twitter account that he had just tried bacon for the first time (via Fox Sports):
"The Texans star running back was a strict vegan for quite some time, however he's backed off a bit over the past year and has allowed himself to experiment a little. Well, he recently just discovered something glorious and it has literally changed his world.
BACON! BACON! BACON!
Let him describe it himself:
"Haven't been strictly vegan for over a year now, tried bacon for the first time. And oh my god. Turkey bacon just doesn't do it... Was raised with a Muslim background so we always substituted with turkey. Nah, bruh... Mother and father had forsaken me. #bacon... Moderation. Balance. Qualities that allowed bacon to walk in my life.'"
Pretty funny stuff. Then May 1 he posted in response to the question "Who does God want the Texans to take with the first pick?" His answer: Tim Tebow. Huffington Post had the scoop.
Most recently, Foster issued a challenge on the game Fun Run (via TMZ):
"The person behind the allegations is 'Martyn' - the 3rd ranked 'Fun Run' player in the world ('Fun Run' is a hugely popular multi-player cell phone game).
The drama began on April 25th ... when Arian challenged the whole internet by tweeting 'Fun run king. Come get washed.' Apparently Martyn was feeling dirty because he tweeted back to Arian 'I bet you your jersey you can't beat me,' along with a screen shot showing he was the third ranked 'Fun Run' player in the world."
Allegedly he lost three games in a row but has yet to pay up and has yet to comment.
What do you think? Should Foster be spending more time working out in the offseason?
