The official plot preview for tonight’s all new episode of Arrow, titled "Streets of Fire,"reads:
“Slade's soldiers attack the city; Felicity gets a call from S.T.A.R. Labs with some game-changing news; Thea comes face-to-face with her father, Malcolm Merlyn.”
When we last left Starling City, Ollie and Laurel trying desperately to stop Slade’s army of Mirakuru warriors. Recently, Laurel actress, Katie Cassidy spoke to Entertainment Weekly about what to expect:
“Everyone at this point is in danger. It’s just a matter of coming together as a group, and figuring out what to do, and handling it from there.”
She also opened up about what it was like for Laurel to learn that Ollie was the Arrow”
“When I read that Slade tells [Laurel] that Oliver is the Arrow, I definitely felt as though that made her embrace the situation even more and made her fall more in love with him. Because at the end of the day, he is the person that she thought he was. For me, reading what they had written and going forward, I think embracing the situation and being supportive of him and what he’s doing and encouraging it was the right way to go. It also makes her not necessarily 100 percent a part of Team Arrow, but another support system, encouraging him and just being on board with everything. That, to me, comes across stronger than someone who was to retaliate.”
The new episode of Arrow airs tonight at 8:00 on The CW.
The official plot synopsis for next week’s grand Season 2 finale, titled "Unthinkable,"reads:
“Season 2 ends with Slade kidnapping and threatening to kill another person in Oliver's life, which forces Oliver to decide whether he is a killer or a hero. Meanwhile, Diggle takes on Amanda; and Thea turns to Roy in a time of need.”
