After Michael Jordan Twins, Roger Federer Double Baby Birth Shocker [UPDATE]

After Michael Jordan's new twin daughters were born in February, tennis veteran Roger Federer shocked the world with his second set of twins. Talk about double vision!

Swiss tennis mainstay announced via Twitter yesterday that he and wife Mirka welcomed the new little Federers (via CNN):

"Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening!"

CNN had this to say about Federer, who missed the Madrid Open in anticipation of the birth:

"He will now swap new balls for new diapers although he hopes to be back on court in the near future.
‘I apologize to my fans and hope to be back in Madrid next year. I'll be training near my home, and am excited to rejoin the Tour soon.'
Federer, a three-time Madrid Open winner, will be replaced in the draw by Poland's Lukasz Kubot, event organizers have announced.
The Swiss played his last match three weeks ago in the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters, where he was defeated by compatriot Stanislas Wawrinka."
Federer, a 17-time Grand Slam winner at 32 years of age, is the father of twins for the second time. Girls Charlene Riva and Myla Rose were born in 2009.
But Federer isn't the only high profile athlete who recently gave birth to twins this year. Legendary hoopster Michael Jordan had baby girls Victoria and Isabel in February. He is also the subject of a new biography by Roland Lazenby, Michael Jordan: The Life came out Tuesday.
What do you think? What's with all the twins? Something in the water?
