Time for another update on the cast of Real Housewives of New Jersey and the upcoming 2014 season of the show. Teresa Giudice, who recently pleaded guilty to a number of fraud charges, had a judge dismiss one of the lawsuits levied against her. Sister-in-law Melissa Gorga may not be so lucky, as a new tabloid report indicates that she may be arrested for fraud as well. Caroline Manzo has left the show, while her sister, Dina Manzo, denied reports that she is back in the dating game.
NJ.com is among a number of sites reporting that Teresa Giudice received a bit of good news, for once. According to the website, Teresa was recently cleared from a small portion of her legal woes:
"A rare legal victory for Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice: A Bergen County Superior Court judge dismissed a lawsuit against the embattled reality TV queen, saying she played no role in a fraud perpetrated by her husband against his former business partner Joseph Mastropole."
Turns out that Teresa's sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, might not be so lucky. One source who recently spoke with Star suggests that the Feds are watching Melissa and her husband Joe:
"Joe and Melissa definitely have a bad reputation, and their credit history doesn't track well. With their past legal troubles and current financial woes, no one can figure out who would be dumb enough to loan them money or what they did to get the loans. When Teresa and Joe started flaunting their money on the show, the Feds watched them very closely-and busted them. There's no way they aren't watching the Gorgas now."
It looks like rumors that Dina Manzo is dating Kenny Arena are totally false. How can we be sure? Because Kenny is gay, as Wet Paint reports:
"Oops! Just last week, we reported that Dina Manzo was possibly dating her man pal, Kenny Arena, after Reality Tea dished that it was a fact, per their trusty source. But, apparently, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star and Kenny are only best friends, like she first claimed back in October of 2013. In fact, according to Dina, Kenny plays for the other team!"
