The Originals is all new tonight on the CW the first of the final two episode of Season 1. Recently, Klaus actor Joseph Morgan opened up about when can expect to see Phoebe Tonkin’s pregnant characters Hayley’s baby bump to pop.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled “The Battle of New Orleans,” reads:
“Klaus and Elijah enact a plan that promises to alter the fates of Hayley and the werewolf community, and lead to the extermination of the French Quarter vampires. Meanwhile, Marcel rallies an army to battle the Mikaelsons and regain control of the city; and Francesca threatens Cami, who deciphers a code that leads to a surprising revelation among the city's factions.”
Recently, Klaus himself, Joseph Morgan recently spoke to TVLine about if Hayley’s baby bump will pop before the end of the season:
“You know, I hope so. It’s the one thing that’s kept Klaus’ humanity. He’s slowly coming around to the idea of this baby, and if that baby isn’t born--or is killed after it’s born, or is taken from him--that will send him down a very dark path. And he’s made so much progress this season, it would be a shame.
It is looking more and more like Hayley won’t be giving birth until the end of the season, at the earliest.
The plot preview for next week’s Season 1 finale, aptly titled “From a Cradle to a Grave,” gives away what we have all assumed:
“Season 1 ends with Hayley trying to protect her unborn baby from the witches. Meanwhile, Francesca meets with Oliver and Jackson to determine the future of the werewolves in New Orleans; and Davina and Cami join forces to take down Klaus, who is forced to make a heartbreaking decision.”
The all new episode of The Original’s airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. on The CW.
