Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are still dating, with some gossip sites claiming the two are engaged. These latest rumors come after months of breakup rumors and one author's dirty marketing trick to use Ryan Gosling in order to sell books.
Sarah Pekkanen really knows how to market the books she writes, no matter what celebrity has to be exploited. This time she chose Ryan Gosling, as Washington Post explains:
"With her fifth novel, Catching Air, ready to publish next week, Pekkanen has been developing ever-more innovative ways to attract attention and new readers. She's currently getting estimates from a Rockville company for putting actor Ryan Gosling's face on a stick. Sarah claims 'I can bring it on tour He can photo bomb my pictures with readers. Dignity at all costs, that's my motto. Franzen is weeping from jealousy.'"
Ryan probably doesn't care too muchGossip site Enstars suggested that Mendes is ready to cut all ties with her ex and settle down with her heartthrob boyfriend:
"Mendes only put the old home on the market back in March, adding to the speculation that she and Gosling are secretly engaged. Getting rid of the property that she shared with her ex could be a signal that she and Gosling are looking to find a new place together as they plan for the future."
Of course, this isn't the first time we've seen rumors that Eva and Ryan were going to call it quits. A recent article in OK! suggests that two are going to call it quits, because Ryan hasn't proposed yet:
"For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
