UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones devastated his opponent Glover Teixeira at UFC 172 on April 26, but the real news was that he posted via Instagram a video of rival light heavyweight Phil Davis getting crushed ("crumble me like a cookie?") at the same event.
Why was this the real news? Because prior to the fight, Davis and legendary UFC fighter Chuck Liddell apparently were talking mad trash about the champ prior to the fight with Teixeira.
Not only did Jones dominate the fight, but afterward he brought a little trash talk of his own, aiming it back at Phil Davis.
Still, critics and fans alike are more scandalized by Jones than his haters, perhaps because he has a reputation for being "above it all," but recently he has been seen playing both sides of the image game.
Speaking of image, fans who want to own a pair of the new Nike Free Trainer 5.0 "Jon 'Bones' Jones" training shoes are out of luck. The MMA-inspired shoes would have sold for $105, if they weren't all sold out.
If you want to check out pics of the sneakers, you can check out their official page on NIKE.com, along with the following description of the footwear:

Reflective trim and signature elements pay tribute to a supreme MMA athlete in bold detail on this versatile shoe."
