Pregnant Carrie Underwood and Mike Fishers Marriage Baby Divorce Split News; Husband Admits to Avoiding Wife at Home

All the tabloid news has been speculating for months that Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher's marriage is headed for divorce if the American Idol country music diva doesn't get pregnant soon. But in recent interviews that hockey husband and his wife didn't mention anything about baby tensions splitting their lives apart. Mike admits that as long as he gets his meat, he mostly stays out of her way at home.

Rumor has it that if Carrie Underwood doesn't hurry up and get pregnant the way Nashville Predator Mike Fisher tells her to, he's going to kick her country singing ass to the curb.

A supposed insider told OK! that the Music Town pair have been at each other's throats with contradictory demands for kids and careers for months now:

"They've been locked in a baby battle and it was putting serious strain on their marriage.

"Carrie made a pact with Mike last year that if he let her pursue her acting dreams, she'd get pregnant in 2014.

"At the end of 2013, he gave her an ultimatum...[But Carrie only] gives vague answers, like, 'You'll just have to wait and see.'"

During a recent interview with US Weekly the only thing Carrie was worried about creating was her new album, and Mike told the magazine that he was okay with all that:

Carrie: "I've been writing quite a bit, it's exciting...It definitely has a different sound. There are some thematic things that are quite different. I love strong women. So I want things that I can get on stage and just feel empowered."

Mike: "She's actually real busy doing a lot of writing and stuff...I've been just kind of hanging out, just kind of being home and enjoying that. I stay out of her way. I go golfing or go fishing or something."

While speaking at the Q Conference about their marriage and faith, Mike and Carrie explained that they only real beef they have is beef (via Christian Post):

"Well, I'm an animal lover and he's a hunter,' said Underwood to a laughing audience.

"She added that this issue was particularly challenging because while she feels passionately about animals, Fisher feels more connected to god while out in the woods.

"The couple explained they had compromised by keeping meat from industrial, large-scale farms out of their kitchen and only serve Fisher's kills."

So Carrie can't sing and be pregnant at the same time or is she just lazy?
