Windows 8 phones are looking to upset the Android and iPhone dominance by selling their phones at a cheap to lure potential buyers.
AT&T has announced Tuesday that they will have the Nokia's Lumia 920 selling for $100 on a two-year contract. The Nokia 820 for $50 and the HTC 8X for $100 this according to wired.com.
Nov. 9 will see the Nokia Lumia 920 launched at AT&T with pre-orders being taken for the 32 GB version of the phone on Nov. 7. The phone will be available in black, yellow, cyan, red and white and according to wired.com AT&T give patrons a free wireless charging plate while supplies last.
Under the Lumia 920 is the 820. This will be sold for $50 on a two year contract and as same with the 920 will have pre orders available from Nov. 7 with the Nov.9 seeing the phone in stores.
The final in the trio is the HTC Windows Phone 8X this phone will come in the 8 GB capacity and will come in blue and yellow. While its 16 GB counterpart will cost consumers $200 as oppose to the $100 for the 8GB. The 16 GB will come with a two year contract and will be available in blue and AT&T has not said when the HTC will be available.
These three phones face stiff contest from the likes of the iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S3 and Nexus 4 all of which hold higher prices than the trio soon available at AT&T.
