Nintendo is starting to show it’s desperation. The struggling Wii U is following in the footsteps of the Xbox One by releasing a Titianfall style bundle featuring the highly anticipated Mario Kart 8. The system will also be offering a free game download for one of four titles including: The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker, Super Mario Bro. U, Wii Party U, and Pikmin 3.
Have been dying to take a high def trip down the Rainbow Road with a turtle a dinosaur and favorite plumber? Been holding back on buying a Wii U for a lack of titles? Well it is your lucky day….OK May 30 will be the actual day of luck.
Nintendo is releasing a special Wii U Mario Kart 8 Bundle with game wheel and free game download for the low-low price of $330.
Back in May the Xbox One found success with a similar with a Titianfall bundle and $50 price drop. Even before the bundle dropped the Xbox One was starting to rise in sales.
XWire, an Xbox blog, is reporting on the new numbers:
“February NPD Group figures released today [Thursday, March 13] showed that Xbox One continues selling at a record-breaking pace with 258,0 0 units sold in the U.S. in the month of February, surpassing Xbox 360 sales by over 61 percent at the same point in time.”
