Rumor has it that HBO Girls creator and showrunner Lena Dunham, aka Hannah Horvath, and her fun band boyfriend Jack Antonoff had very public breakup following an loud attention drawing fight at a swanky New York eatery. Lena has decided to extend an olive branch to fellow writer/director Desiree Akhavan, her supposed artistic rival, by offering her a new role for Girls Season 4.
Girls creator Lena Dunham reportedly had big hopes for her relationship to fun guitarist Jack Antonoff, but that is believed to be all over now.
During what should have been a romantic outing to Bowery Diner April 19, the writer and musician apparently put on a hell of a show for their fellow NYC patrons.
An eyewitness tells OK! that Hannah Lena was acting absolutely rabid as she verbally beat the ever-living crap out of Antonoff:
"Lena was screaming at the top of her lungs, saying, 'I can't believe youy!' over and over, with tears in her eyes.
"People were staring--it wasn't pretty--It was crazy how loud she was...They were in the middle of the sidewalk!"
Lena is, at least, making a new friend in fellow writer director Desiree Akhavan, who many feel is veryr similar to Dunham in ascetic, by casting her as one of the new members for her upcoming fourth season.
According to the Guardian Desiree is just one of the new additions to look forward to this season:
"Both Akhavan and another newcomer, Peter Mark Kendall, will play Hannah's fellow attendees at the Iowa Writers' Workshop.
"When Akhavan's comedy Appropriate Behaviour...premiered at the most recent Sundance film festival, critics immediately spotted similarities with Dunham's debut, Tiny Furniture.
"And, despite Akhavan's protestations that her film is more Annie Hall than Hannah Horvath, she was dubbed 'the next Lena Dunham' by interviewer after interviewer."
Well if you can't beat them join them...unless they embarrass you at a restaurant , then you just get the hell out of there.
