The Originals is all new tonight. The hit CW series kicks off the final three episodes of the season tonight. However, have no fear, the hist Vampire Diaries spin-off has already been renewed for another season. Charles Michael Davis recently opened up about his character Marcel’s interest in Phoebe Tonkin’s Pregnant character Hayley’s baby.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode, titled "A Closer Walk with Thee,"reads:
“Hayley confronts a surprising enemy and falls into peril during a wake to honor a late member of the community. Meanwhile, Klaus suffers from nightmares about his father and is forced to examine his own troubled relationship with his adoptive son; and Marcel learns about Francesca's quest to find a mysterious key that will unlock a family secret.”
Phoebe Tonkin's character Haley's baby bump is is getting ready to pop and it seems everyone has a stake in the baby’s future.
Recently Charles Michael Davis spoke to Entertainment Weekly about Marcel’s interest in Hayley's baby:
“I think the more that he learns about the baby, he will, but from what we learned earlier on in the season when he first encounters Hayley and Klaus and Elijah, he just says, ‘What’s up with this girl? Who is she?’ And then, as we discovered in the last episode, he remembers who she is to him but not what’s so important about the baby and who she is to Klaus and what that baby means. I think he’s still recovering from being knocked around with Rebekah leaving and his relationship with Klaus and then with Kieran’s death and also trying to resolve things with Cami. [Hayley's baby is] just not one of the spinning plates that he’s balancing right now.”
