Rumors that Prince Harry may be getting engaged to alleged fiancé Cressida Bonas may not be true after all. A new tabloid report suggests that Cressy is putting the wedding on hold, after she realized how demanding Princess Kate Middleton's schedule is.
It's not easy being a princess. At least that's how one source made it sound when they explained to Star why Cressy is having second thoughts:
"Cressida wants to slow things down. She's used to making her own schedule, and she doesn't want to give up her entire life to attend royal engagements."
According to the same insider, these feelings developed shortly after Cressy spoke with Kate Middleton. Apparently, she was left overwhelmed by the duties of a princess:
"Cressida has spoken to Kate about the expectations that come with being part of the royal family and how unbelievably busy she is. Kate's been honest about her struggles, and it's been a lot for Cressida to process."
Of course, this report varies greatly from others we've seen about the couple, even from the same tabloid. One source told the publication that Harry and Cressy's relationship is movie full steam ahead:
"Prince Charles was with Harry when they told the queen about the impending engagement; she was thrilled. She does wish Cressida would tidy her hair a bit, but that's a generation thing."
The tabloid is also reporting that Princess Kate is thrilled at the news and is helping Cressida transition. Middleton has actually taken on a very active role in the wedding planning, claims one source:
"Kate's already got a pile of wedding magazines and dress-designer suggestions for her! She knows better than anyone the complications associated with a royal wedding and plans on guiding Cressida through the whole thing. It's not a normal wedding where you can do what you want; this wedding belongs to the people of Great Britain."
