Despite months of rumors that claimed Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were going to breakup, it appears that the exact opposite may be true. This weekend saw a wave of rumors that the two are engaged and secretely planning their Hollywood wedding.
What got all of this chatter started in the first place? Turns out Eva Mendes is selling the home she once shared with her ex-bf. According to gossip site EnStarz, this could mean only one thing--she is ready to cut all ties with her ex and settle down with her heartthrob boyfriend:
"Mendes only put the old home on the market back in March, adding to the speculation that she and Gosling are secretly engaged. Getting rid of the property that she shared with her ex could be a signal that she and Gosling are looking to find a new place together as they plan for the future."
If the two actually are planning a wedding, it certainly would come as a surprise to many. Just last month, OK! was spelling doom for the famous couple.
One source told the publication that they were on the verge of a breakup, because Ryan just wasn't willing to commit to Eva:
For the past 18 months, they've been talking about taking the next step, to the point that on every vacation, Eva's been convinced he would be popping the question. The trip to Iceland in September was the last straw. She pretty much gave him an ultimatum, but he balked and she stormed out and flew back to the States without him."
This doesn't even come close to the more absurd rumors we've heard about Eva and Ryan. Some tabloids even reported that Ryan was back in a relationship with his Notebook costar, Rachel McAdams.
