There was no big winner for last night’s $58 mill Mega Millions lottery drawing. Check the results below for update on the game’s new total.
The new total for this week’s Mega Millions lottery game have reached $68 million, with an estimated cash value of $38 mill.
The last big Mega Millions lottery give away $30 million on April 4. The official website reports on the big win writing:
“April 14, 2014 - After only a week and a half of waiting Los Angeles’ newest millionaire has finally come forward.
“Leopoldo Choi verified his winning ticket at the California Lottery’s Van Nuys district office today after he matched all six numbers in the Mega Millions April 4th drawing. Choi takes home a cool $30 million! While Choi has decided to remain low key on what he plans to do with his winnings, we can tell you that the winning ticket was a Quick Pick® and Choi has decided to take the cash option of $16.6 million.
“Choi isn’t the only winner. The Century City 76 station in Los Angeles that sold the ticket picks up a bonus of $150,000, or one half of one percent.”
The Mega Millions website also goes on to warns gamers to play safe, adding:
“Although most people can play Mega Millions and other lottery games without ill effects, there are some people for whom gambling of any sort can be addictive and very damaging.
