Nor'easter Maybe On Course To Hit New York & New Jersey (SEE PATH)

The states of New York and New Jersey could be in for more torment as a nor'easter is set to make its way to the area in the coming days.

As reported by FOX News a nor'easter is set to reach the region as soon as Wednesday this just after people there had to deal with the power of Hurricane Sandy.

The storm could bring with it very high winds snow and moderate to heavy rainfall. A long-range notice for this possible disaster was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday. With experts saying on Sunday that winds could be as much as 55 mph.

Though predicted to be not as powerful as Sandy authorities are still wary of the treat the nor'easter can cause to already battered region.

"Prepare for more outages. Stay indoors, stock up again," said weather service meteorologist Joe Pollina.

These comments coming while many in the two states are without power especially those nearer to the coast like Long Islanders. The nor'easter Pollina said could have winds "stronger than usual, even strong for a Nor'easter."

Mayor Michaela Bloomberg and other officials are scrambling to get the power on to homes that have none. Nor'easters are storms that consist of strong wintery conditions.

Although kind of storms are common this time of year Mayor Bloomberg insist that events such as these are caused by climate change.

"Our climate is changing and while the increase in extreme weather we have experienced in New York City and around the world may or may not be the result of it, the risk that it might be - given this week's devastation - should compel all elected leaders to take immediate action," said Bloomberg.
