Princess Kate Middleton is finally headed home from her recent tour with Prince William and baby Prince George Alexander Louis. Her latest departure comes after months of rumors that Princess Kate is pregnant with her second child and an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction that was captured in a number of photos.
After nearly 20 days of touring, the princess and her entourage are returning to the U.K. The royals loved the time they spent in New Zealand and Australia, as a representative told Us Weekly:
"The tour of New Zealand and Australia has been an incredible experience for both the Duke and Duchess, and the couple really have enjoyed it immensely. We always said this would be an opportunity for the Duke to introduce both countries to the Duchess and Prince George, and the couple have been bowled over by the extraordinarily warm welcome shown to them as a family by people everywhere they went."
The royal family dominated headlines while they toured abroad. We even saw an end (if only temporarily) to rumors that Princess Kate was pregnant with her second child.
While at the Amisfield Vineyard in New Zealand, Kate Middleton was photographed downing some wine. Obviously, this means that the pregnant rumors were false, despite a recent article in Star that quoted a source as revealing:
"Little George is getting a sister, and Kate is absolutely thrilled. She was really hoping the next child would be a girl, and having it confirmed has just given her the best start to the year, Kate and William are ecstatic."
Of course, everyone should have known that Kate wasn't pregnant from her choice in clothing. There was absolutely no baby bump in sight.
And readers got quite a view when Princess Kate experienced a bit of a wardrobe malfunction, as she exited a plane. While holding Prince George in her arms, the wind happened to blow her dress higher than Middleton was expecting.
