American's Kerry Russell is rumored to be dating her FX co-star Matthew Rhys, after being spotted out and about of several occasions--despite Rhys denials. What has been unequivocally confirmed is, the series about Soviet KGB agents living in the United States, has been picked up renewed for a Season 3. But that's not all Kerry has going on in the not too distant future. Russell has also joined British acting icon Gary Oldman for the next installment of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
Kerry Russell and her American's co-star Matthew Rhys have been cagey about admitting they are seeing one another despite non-stop rumors, they're a couple.
According to highly-reputable People Magazine, there is finally inarguable proof that the comrades are secretly lovers:
"The secret (love) life of Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys has been revealed.
"People has learned that Russell, 38, and Rhys, 39, are a couple.
"The two stepped out for date night on Thursday, stopping into New York's The Public Theater, where they watched the Steven Soderbergh-directed play The Library.
"They sat together and theatergoers spotted Russell stroking Rhys's hair and the two whispering before they left together."
Luckily for the new couple, Kerry and Matthew will be getting paid to spend a lot more time together.
The Daily Mail reports that Americans had been picked up by the trying-hard-to-be-trendy FX network for at least one more season:
"Actress Keri Russell has something to celebrate with her new boyfriend, Matthew Rhys - the renewal of their show The Americans.
"The announcement of a third season came Wednesday morning from FX.
"The former Felicity star, 38, along with her fellow co-stars have been highly praised for their performances on the Emmy-nominated television series."
But that isn't the only good career news Kerry has to announce this week; the 38-year-old actress will be staring in the new film Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (via Daily Mail):
"Keri Russell kept her look plain and simple but radiated plenty of natural beauty as she appeared at Wondercon to promote Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes on Sunday."
"The film, a sequel to 2011's Rise of the Planet of the Apes, sees the human race on the verge of extinction after a deadly virus and civil unrest have all but wiped out mankind."
Haven't they already made that movie...like every other year.
