Engaged Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman Baby News: Nearly Killed on ‘BGT’; Sinitta Reveals No Diapers for Daddy [VIDEO]

Simon Cowell may not be ready to get engaged to Lauren Silverman just yet, but the surly X-Factor producer is doing everything a new daddy should--almost. Simon isn't afraid to pay baby Eric's way or show him off to the world, but the music mogul, who was nearly killed proving his bravery on Britain's Got Talent last week, isn't changing and nappies diapers reveals proud godmother Sinitta.

Simon Cowell risked life and limb last week on Britain's Got Talent as 11-year-old cowboy Edward Pinder sent knives flying around the talent show set.

Simon was so impressed with little Eddie's knife throwing skills he decided to let Ed have a go at hurling the blades towards him.

A mistake on Simon's part as it turns out- -because just as soon as the second knife's blade hit the backstop, it bounced off and grazed Cowell shoulder.

All the judges immediately began reacting to the unexpected accident in their own ways (via Leicester Mercury):

Simon said: "I kind of felt my life going in front of me there."

David said: "How much do we need to pay you to throw the knives just a little bit nearer to him?"

Amanda Holden said: "You nearly killed Simon Cowell."

Edwards explained that mishap didn't happen because of incompetence or error--sometime the knives just do whatever they want:

"I was a bit nervous about throwing knives at Simon but I got over it.

"I practice every day... I never miss.

"Sometimes the knives bounce out."

Cowell may be fearless when it comes to facing down a tween with a circus act, but according to his ex-girlfriend and current baby god-mama Sinitta, Si still isn't quite ready to face down dirty diapers (via Mirror):

"It has altered his perspective on life, give him a new identity. But no, I don't think he's changed any nappies yet."

Right...just because someone makes a baby doesn't mean they necessarily should clean up after it.
