Former cast member Gretchen Rossi is spreading gossip on Twitter about the Bravo Season 9 Real Housewives of Orange County boycotts. The richest and newest edition to the OC team Lizzie Rovsek is happy to appear in the media again, but this time on her own terms. Back in 2006, when Lizzie was still Elizabeth Arnold, she had to deal with a storm of paparazzi and hurtful allegation of cheating, during the tumultuous period of time she was dating Jessica Simpson's then husband Nick Lachey. Tamera Barney Judge claims her new hubby Eddie is media shy--often ducking behind couches and curtains to hide from the cameras. Too bad for Tamera's reputation as a mother, her old husband Simon doesn't have that problem.
Spurned Housewife Gretchen Rossi is predicting a severe drop in ratings for Season 9 of Bravo's Real Housewives of Orange County, dues to the boycott orchestrated following her not being picked up after the Season 8 finale.
When a fan tweeted Gretch that they wouldn't be watching the reality TV series now that she wouldn't be on it, Rossi was quick to confirm on Twitter (via Wet Paint):
"Many have said that. Xoxo."
Realizing that they had just found a riveted audience in attention obsessed Rossi, the super-fan insisted that Bravo would come to rue their decisions, once they saw their precious ratings had plummeted.
Gretchen let everyone know that she also agreed there would be consequences with her response of, "So true."
New Housewife Lizzie Rovsek has been tabloid fodder once before, when she was dating Jessica Simpson's boy band beau Nick Lackey post-split--but pre-divorce.
Though at that time in life, the pressures of constant media attention was just too much for Rovsek to take, she told The Sporting Life in an interview shortly after their fling (via Radar Online):
"I hated it! It was awful...it made me want to quit acting...for the most part. It was just very violating.
"I did not want to be famous for that, so I removed myself from the situation, down to the family compound in Laguna, until the paparazzi found another story.
"I don't want that kind of attention, but I do think that I learned a lot about myself during that time."
But now that Liz is a little bit older with a few kids and tens of millions of dollars in the bank, she's ready to try it again.
Tamera Barney Judge may love the reality TV limelight, but her new husband Mike definitely doesn't.
Tammy told Reality Tea that Mike does his best to remain unseen by Bravo's cameras:
"Eddie tries to stay away from the cameras. He sort of ducks and hides. He's not really into the filming as much as I am. He's very easy going. We don't really fight."
Of course they don't fight much, the man hides from people in his own house.
