There is no doubt is anybody's mind that Porsha Williams attacked Kenya Moore, who deserved it, during the 2014 Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 reunion--Porsha's arrest made sure of that. But rumor has it that the whole thing could have been avoided and Kenya would still drop the assault charges, if Williams would publically apologize. Most visiable of the Atlanta ladies NeNe Leakes thinks the producers should fire Cynthia Bailey's boring butt, and leave Moore and Williams around to duke it out again if the ratings get low.
Right now it seems that things may never be the same on the set of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, since Kenya is proceeding with having Porsha tried for assault, but word has it Porsha could still make all those charges go away.
An insider told Hollywood Life that Moore was only mad because Porsha hadn't publically acknowledged that her behavior at the reunion was disgusting and wrong:
"If Porsha publicly came out and apologized to Kenya and really and genuinely said she's sorry and meant it and said how she was wrong for putting her hands on Kenya, Kenya just might ask the charges be dropped.
"She wants Porsha to know that what she did was extremely unladylike and foul and pledge she will never do such a thing again."
"Kenya feels that what Porsha did was way south of the border and that it casts the entire franchise and black women in such a negative light."
Besides, a source tells Radar Online that broke-ass Kenya was only trying to stir up a little drama to boost the ratings and maybe next year's check--just like her scheme to look like she drives fancy whips:
"Kenya is basically broke and she doesn't have any money...Most of the things that she shows off, like purses or cars, don't belong to her.
"Kenya had a local car dealership in Atlanta give her a really expensive car on loan and then they got the publicity that she was driving a car from their lot.
"It was just during filming and it was a good deal for both of them. She was able to pretend she had a high end car and they got the free press."
NeNe Leakes told Andy Cohen that she wasn't supposed to speculate about who would and wouldn't be fired from the Bravo show.
And NeNe remained true to her mission until Cohen asked her if they were going to be letting Kenya go (via Radar Online):
"You can ask anybody that knows me, I personally do not like Kenya but I am all for the good of the show... and I think she is good for the show because she's drama.
"I would have to say--I didn't bring Cynthia's name up, you did--Cynthia is okay. It's not like she's really bringing anything to the show.
"Just to be honest, she talks about the Bailey agency and Bar One. It's not like [she and husband Peter Thomas] are really talking about anything.
"People that do the show season to season and talk about the same thing over and over and over again, it's like, 'Girl, goodbye.'"
Well...that's not very nice.
