Pregnant Christian Aguilera may be getting a little more time off from being a coach on The Voice than she might have liked, but Matt Rutler's fiancé doesn't plan to just sit around nursing her baby bump on Instagram, while planning her wedding in the meantime. Christina, who is being replaced by Gwen Stefani for Season 7, has reportedly landed the role of Evita's Eva in the new Broadway-themed film experience called Broadway 4D.
Christina Aguilera is reportedly less than thrilled about getting bumped from Season 7 of The Voice, but the producers feared the baby just wouldn't wait until the finale.
No matter. Xtina is looking to the future, since she can no longer look at her feet thanks to a very noticeable baby bump.
The engaged Burlesque diva let the Twittispere know the day before Easter that she would be embracing her time off, as an opportunity to get things done:
"So blissful in taking this time for creating all things blossoming new on the horizon...album, baby & beautiful music to come."
And getting busy making music is exactly what Christina is doing.
It has been confirmed by Broadway World that Aguilera will soon be giving us her rendition of the tune butchered by Madonna in the 90's:
"Christina Aguilera will essay one of the most iconic musical theatre roles of all time byway of her casting in a new Broadway-themed film experience called BROADWAY 4D--in no less than the role of Eva in Evita.
"It has been confirmed that Aguilera will perform the legendary "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" from the memorable Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice Evita score as part of the revolutionary new 4D film."
The film is current in production and reportedly scheduled to be released sometime in 2015.
