Hilary Duff and her former hockey player husband Mike Combie aren't officially back together, but the couple haven't done anything to make their divorce happen legally, since first announcing their split back in January. Though the pair have presumably remained friendly, for the sake of the kids, they were recently spotted attending music and arts festival Coachella hand in hand, sans little ones. Hilary's food blogger little sister Hailey recently made her engagement news to boyfriend Matt Rosenberg public; Duff congratulated the loving couple via Instagram.
Hilary Duff and Mike Combie have been getting along so well since their split, some people are starting to wonder if they aren't still together.
The pair were spotted partying together at Coachella by Us Weekly, apparently looking every bit the married couple:
"The two were photographed laughing and rocking out under the bright California sunshine together, looking carefree and comfortable."
"At Coachella, the two were snapped joking together and comfortably soaking in the music scene."
Maybe it was Hilary's sister Hailey's romantic news that she was starting a life with her boyfriend Matt Rosenberg, that inspired Hilary to reconsider giving Mike a pass.
Hailey recently announced to the whole world earlier this month that Matt had made her the happiest woman in the world by proposing (via Us Weekly):
"This week has seriously just become the best week of my life!
"Matt just took me by total surprise and proposed...on April Fools' Day of all days! The moment was genuine and sweet (like him!) and I couldn't wait to say yes!
"We are so excited and happy to share our wonderful news with everyone!
"We both feel so blessed to have the love and support of our family and friends and can't wait to start this new adventure!"
Hilary wasted no time congratulating her sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law on their good fortune via Instagram:
"Love you guys so much!!!! @mr_sts @haylieduff"
Short and sweet--plus the picture is worth a thousand words.
