Daniel Craig and wife Rachel Weisz are starting to seriously consider having a baby in the not to distant future, according to their gossipy friends.

During a rare public appearance together at the Opportunity Network gala in Manhattan, New York on April 7, the pair looked absolutely smitten with one another, an eyewitness told Us Weekly:

"When they came on stage, [Rachel] never too her eyes off Daniel as he spoke.

"They are crazy about each other."

A friend of the acting couple told the publication that Daniel and Rachel have been openly tossing around the idea of having a kid:

"They talk about having kids together.

"They're so happy...It's about timing at this point."

Word is also out that Penolope Cruz is the high hopeful to play the next Bond girl.

According to Ny Daily Mail, Cruz is at the top of everybody's list to be featured as Craig latest arm-candy in the next Bond installment:

"Penelope Cruz could soon be given a license to thrill.

"The Spanish sex symbol is hotly-tipped to become the next Bond girl.

"A leaked document from movie-makers Sony reportedly says the 39-year-old is favorite to play 007's lover in the hit franchise's next movie.

"Director Sam Mendes is believed to want mom-of-two Cruz to star in the follow--up to Skyfall--which starred her husband Javier Bardem, 45, as villain Raoul Silva.

On a sadder note, one-time Olympic Bond double Mark Sutton's cause of death has been determined following the fatal accident while wearing a wing suit in the Swiss Alps.

The coroner in charge of the investigation told Daily Mail, that Mark was killed due to the tragic combination of blistering speed and blunt trauma caused upon making impact:

"Mr. Sutton had jumped from a helicopter wearing a wing suit, camera and parachute. He crashed into a mountain range at a speed of about 150mph."

"He took the full force of the impact on his head, resulting in instantaneous death."

Talk about a license to kill.
