Pop singer P!nk, also known as Alicia Moore, is reportedly still angry about Gwen Stefani's play date snub. But Stefani doesn't have time for baby feud, right now; the No Doubt singer has just been announced as pregnant coach Christina Aguilera's replacement, alongside fellow newcomer Pharrell Williams and vets Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, on NBC's Season 7 of most exciting talent contest on television, The Voice.
P!nk is still reportedly pissed about being told off by No Doubt's Gwen Stefani for doing nothing more than inviting her kid to a playdate.
A mutual friend of the pop stars reportedly told Radar Online that Moore tried to mend past grievances with Gwen by suggesting a baby playdate as an olive branch--only to have Stefani tell her where she could stick her said olive branch:
"[P!nk] suggested she and Gwen bring their children together for a Beverly Hills playdate.
"P!nk was pretty upset when she got an email a couple of days later from Gwen that basically said, 'not now and not ever' to the idea that they bury the hatchet by having their small children meet each other."
But nobody's got time for all that right now.
After Gwen's Stefani's rep admitted that the No Doubt frontwoman was in talks to replace Christina Aguilera, TMZ broke the news that Mrs. Gavin Rosedale's got the gig for Season 7:
"Multiple sources connected to the show tell us...No Doubt's lead singer will be on Season 7...which starts taping in June.
"Producers started looking for new blood in February after Christina announced she was pregnant. Makes sense...she'd be 8 or 9 months along by the time Season 8's battle rounds began.
"We're told NBC wanted Christina to stay during her pregnancy but she's having a difficult time already and ultimately bowed out."
And with Us Weekly also reporting that they have a source swearing that, "[Gwen's] contract is now done;" it seems like it safe to officially start celebrating.
Sorry P!nk, it looks like you are going to have to find another celebrity mom to feud with, because Gwen is just going to be too busy.
Maybe Kerry Washington will be willing to exchange angry emails with you, once she has her baby.
