Walt Disney's Wreck-It Ralph Gets Great Reviews From Critics

Walt Disney Animation Studio's "Wreck-It Ralph," hit movie theaters on Oct.29 and has gotten great reviews from movie goers and those in the biz.

"Wreck-It Ralph is not only the best animated film of the year, it's the best video game movie ever made. Filled with wit, heart and nods to games ranging from Q*Bert to Gears of War, it is a movie for gamers by gamers, but the story and execution are so brilliant you don't need to be a game fan to enjoy it." IGN.com.

"Wreck-It Ralph," stars comedic actor John C. Reilly as "Ralph" and features the like of fellow comedian Sarah Silverman, Glee star Jane Lynch and Jack McBrayer.

The film also has the voices of Alan Tudyk, Dennis Haysbert, Stefanie Scott, Mindy Kaling, Rich Moore, Adam Carolla and Horatio Sanz.

Other voice actors include Raymond Persi, Edie McClurg, Rachel Harris, Ed O'Neill and Skrillex to name a few.

The film was directed by Rich Moore, produced by Clark Spencer and screenplay was done by Jennifer Lee and Phil Johnson.

The majority of the music was composed by Henry Jackman and other musical notes coming from some acts such like Rihanna, Owl City, Bruckner & Garcia, Kool & the Gang, AKB48 and Skrillex.

"Wreck-It Ralph is a villain of an arcade video game called "Fix-It Felix Jr." "Ralph," as the villain in the game role is to destroy whatever Fix-It Felix Jr. does in the game. He has done this for over 30 years and questions if this is all there is for him. In his searching for more out of life, the villain traverses the video game landscape and encounters various worlds and characters in which he tries to be a part of and tries to show that he can play the role of hero not just villain.
