Thanks to "Let It Go" powerhouse Idina Menzel the Frozen soundtrack is no. 1 again for the tenth time on Billboards music charts, but despite not having their divorce finalized her husband, Taye Diggs, is already on to love of his life no. 2. Rumor has it the Taye and his new girlfriend are absolutely head-over-heals in love.
Who would believe that after ten years of marriage to a talented beauty like Idina Menzel, Taye Diggs would be so quick to fall in love with someone new?
A friend of Diggs told People magazine that the woman Taye was photographed with at Hooray Henry's nightclub in West Hollywood last week, was his new loving girlfriend Amanda Smith:
"[Taye and Amanda] are fully dating. They're telling friends they're in love."
It not all bad news for Idina this week though, her musical If/Then is still a big success and according to Perez Hilton the soundtrack for Frozen is atop the charts once again:
"The popular Disney the soundtrack continues to slay at number one, making this the tenth, nonconsecutive week, it has been on the charts!
"According to Nielsen SoundScan, the album's cumulative sales add up to approximately 2.1 million copies!
"Frozen has joined the ranks of being at number one for 10 weeks with 11 other albums. Of those 11, four are also soundtracks from films including The Bodyguard, The Titanic and tying with The Lion King."
Idina has just too much going on right now to let Taye's philandering get to her; besides she told E! that it was better after some much time drifting apart, that they just let it go:
"We met when we were 25 in Rent. So, we've been through a lot of ups and downs, and we've worked really hard for a long time."
"I just think we've grown apart, grown up, grown to a place where we think maybe we can learn new things about ourselves, going on our own separate ways."
That being said Idina isn't exactly immune to the sting of Taye's betrayal.
Menzel told CBS that if she didn't have to put on a brave face for everyone then she wouldn't (via Daily Mail):
"If I didn't have a job...I'd be home eating a tray of brownies and, you know, watching sad romantic comedies and Bridget Jones-ing it out."
