Spoiler Alert: Arrow returns tomorrow night with the first of the final five episodes. However, you will not have to wait until tomorrow night to catch a glimpse of the Emerald Archer in action. This week’s DC All Access takes us behind the scenes of the hit CW series. In the new featurette the Arrow cast open up about about some the season finale. They also managed to bring up Stephen Amell’s shirtless workouts. Check out the video below which also features a sneak peek of tomorrow's new episode. In the video we get our very first look at Vibe from the upcoming Flash series. It is also worth noting that in the comics Vibe is a member of the JLA alongside the Green Arrow.
After a hellish first week without Arrow the hit show is coming back with a bang. Tomorrow's all new episode, titled, “The Man Under the Hood,” picks right up where the last episode left off. When we last saw The Green Arrow, he had just bested by Deathstroke in every way possible. Roy Harper has lost faith in the Emerald Archer, Mia..sorry, Thea has lost trust in Ollie and Laurel has just learned he is the Arrow.
The episode also features the first look at Vibe played by Carlos Valdes. In the comics, Vibe is a member of the Justice League of America alongside the Green Arrow. Vibe will be a series regular on the new Flash spin-off.
The episode’s title was kept a secret for the longest time. Arrow showrunner, Marc Guggenheim, has since told Collider about why it was kept secret:
“The reason I’ve been holding off on Tweeting the title page for Episode 19 is that 19 is co-written by Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, the team behind The Flash, and I felt like, if I Tweeted that, the jig would be up. Little did I know, the jig would get out itself. But Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin, and Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco, two members of Star Labs that are part of the regular cast of The Flash, do make an important appearance in Episode 19 of Arrow. This was something that really came about because Barry was in a coma at the end of Episode 9 and that made it impossible for Barry to appear in Episode 19 or 20 of Arrow. He’s gotta stay in a coma until October of next year. But, the idea of bringing in those characters really appealed to us because it allowed us to honor our original intention that we had at the beginning of the year, to do something Flash-related in Episode 19 or 20, without having comatose Barry and paying Grant Gustin a lot of money to sit around with his eyes closed, unconscious for the whole episode.”
