Word has it the MTV's Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry has forgiven her often drunk mother for bailing on baby Lincoln's birth, but has still banned her mom from seeing her children or husband Javi for the time being. Thanks to all the Season 5 drama and ratings the network has reportedly decided to renew the series for a 6th season.
It seemed like Kailyn Lowry was a little hurt when her mom pulled a no-show at baby Lincoln's birth, but no one was really too surprised.
Kailyn's mother Suzi has been a phantom in Lowry's life for years--emerging here and there from drinking binges only to fade back into her reported substance abuse again and again.
But as Kailyn has made apparent several times, she is always going to forgive her mother, though the 22-year-old is starting to come to terms with who Suzi really is.
An insider told Radar Online that Lowry has already forgiven her mom for bailing on her, but Kailyn isn't going to let Suzi get close enough to hurt her family, at least not for now:
"Kailyn has forgiven her mother...They have been talking on the phone.
"She just never really knows if her mother is sober, [and] Kailyn's not ready for Suzi to meet baby Lincoln yet.
"She has a dream that one day her mom will be a doting grandmother, but she knows that may never happen."
According to The Hollywood Gossip, MTV is picking up Teen Mom 2 for at least one more season; a source on the inside of production told the publication that the rating were just too good to let the show go:
"Producers saw that ratings were so high.
"And now there's a whole new crop of drama: Jenelle Evans is pregnant, and Leah and Jeremy are talking divorce. It would be foolish to stop filming now."
So it sounds like we might just find out how this whole drunk mom thing turns out after all.
