George Clooney and London lawyer Amal Alamuddin have been dating publicly only a short while, but friends seem to think that the aging Hollywood icon will be engaged in no time. That doesn't mean Clooney has completely forgotten about his ex, WWE wrestler Stacy Keibler, however. According to updated reports, the former Batman sent Stacey an innocent congratulations text on her wedding day, which apparently made her new husband Jared Pobre red with anger.
It's well known by now that George Clooney is getting serious with his new girlfriend attorney/activist Amal Alamuddin.
A close friend of Clooney's even told OK! that George would ,without a doubt, be married in no time flat:
"Of all the women he's dated over the last few years...Amal is the first that George actually sees a long future with.
"She is extremely smart...achieving the seemingly unattainable ideal of contemporary femininity: She is both breathtakingly beautiful and formidably successful.
"George can't get enough on Amal...If things keep going as well as they are, he'll definitely propose."
But all that talk about Clooney moving on doesn't mean jack to digital advertising mogul Jared Pobre, if George is going to stay in contact with his new wife, Clooney's ex, Stacy Keibler.
An insider told National Enquirer that George sent Stacy a completely innocent enough text, offering her nothing but well-wishes as she embarked on her new life with Jared:
"I always knew you would make someone a beautiful wife, and you have. I wish you and Jared a beautiful life together."
But that was a little much for Jared to handle, and according to the witness, when Pobre found out about the communique he was furious:
"While he acknowledges George was a major part of his newly pregnant bride's past, he's adamant he will NOT be any part of her future!
"[Jared] did not share her feelings, and he's forbidden her to respond. Jared's a self-assured, confident guy, but it's not easy to follow in the footsteps of someone like George Clooney."
Jared should take comfort in knowing that Clooney clearly doesn't want to take Stacy away from him, or George would have already done it.
