Though Ellen DeGeneres has firmly denied for weeks that she and her wife Portia de Rossi are considering a divorce, Ellen's one-time employee, Skinnygirl Bethany Frankel would argue otherwise. But you reportedly have to get a few drinks in her first. It's not all bad news for Ellen, however. Portia may be looking to split, but her celebrity filled Oscar selfie is said to be worth a $1 billion dollars. That's not too bad for something you can get free on the internet.
Ellen DeGenres's marriage to Portia de Rossi may be in a lot more trouble than the day time talk show has been willing to let on.
While Ellen was producing Bethany Frankel's short lived talk show, DeGeneres reportedly let Bethany in on her marital woes.
Hot mess Frankel would then,according to rumer, get drunk and let her now estranged husband Jason Hoppy in on Ellen's marital woes as well.
Much to everyone's, saves Jason, dismay, Hoppy is publishing a tell-all to ruin Frankel and, by proxy, her friends, a source told In Touch:
"Bethany's a dirty fighter and Jason has learned a lot from her...She made his life a living hell, and now Jason's going to get revenge.
"She told him some humiliating stories about Ellen and her wife Portia, and in private, she calls Andy [Cohen] her 'lap dog' and brags that she has him wrapped around her finger.
"Her image would be shattered...She's completely rattled."
On a brighter note, Ellen's not-so-impromptu Oscar Selfie is reportedly worth a billion bucks, according to Jonah Berger, an associate professor of marketing at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, who spoke to NBC:
"It does seem high, but if you think about the value of customers and social shares, then potentially that valuation is correct...Selfies are the new bandwagon that marketers are jumping on."
And in a way...isn't making all that money for someone else even more fulfilling than making it for yourself?
