Toni Braxton Brankrupt Star Tries To Evade Creditors By Passing On Cash To Estranged Husband

Toni Braxton R&B and reality TV star according to TMZ fraudulently transferred the amount of $53,490 to her husband in an effort not to pay creditors in regard to her bankruptcy.

Braxton who was a 90s R&B sensation filed for bankruptcy in 2010 and it is said she hid disbursement from creditors said a trustee

"Toni Braxton fraudulently transferred $53,490 to her estranged husband in order to avoid paying back creditors in her bankruptcy case - so says the trustee of Toni's bankruptcy estate ... According to new docs filed in Toni's ongoing bankruptcy case, Toni's estranged husband Keri Lewis received the 5-figure sum after Toni's money was already earmarked to repay creditors."

According to TMZ a rep for Braxton said. "All of the payments made to Lewis prior to Toni's bankruptcy filing were appropriate transfers for reasonable and necessary personal and business expenses in the ordinary course of her business."

Braxton's representative said that she will prove that the comments made by the trustee do not hold any weight. Braxton is said to owe debts of about $10 to $50 million.

Toni Braxton was on the LaFace, Arista, Blackground and Atlantic records. The artist has seven albums since she became active on the scene in 1993 and has an album entitled "Toni! Toni! Toni!"

Braxton was married in 2001 to Keri Lewis and is an advocate for autism having bore a with the condition.
