Pregnant Carrie Underwood and Husband Mike Fisher Baby Divorce News: Split Avoided by Writing Album [RUMORS]

Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher are reportedly talking about divorce. Her hockey husband is reportedly tired off Carrie putting of getting pregnant so she can focus solely on her career, and, according to gossip news, will split if Underwood doesn't give him a baby before long. With news that Carrie has confirmed she's busy writing a new album, one could surmise the country music star is turning her focus towards aspects of her career that can be worked on while she is pregnant.

Carrie Underwood and Nashville Predator Mike Fisher have been rumored to be at total odds, regarding Carrie's getting pregnant in 2014.

A source close to the pair told OK! that Carrie didn't want give Mike the satisfaction of caving to his ultimatums:

"They've been locked in a baby battle and it was putting serious strain on their marriage.

"Carrie made a pact with Mike last year that if he let her pursue her acting dreams, she'd get pregnant in 2014.

"At the end of 2013, he gave her an ultimatum...[But Carrie only] gives vague answers, like, 'You'll just have to wait and see.'"

Perhaps, writing her new album--something Carrie can do at home--might be her way to giving in to Mike, without actually doing what he says.

According to Taste of Country, Carrie has confirmed that she is working on songs for her new album, after taking a two year break form making her own records:

"The singer is making time to write songs 'a lot lately' and she says 'it's going well!'

"Underwood hasn't released an album since 2012′s 'Blown Away' which featured her hit songs "Good Girl" and "Blown Away" and several songs she co-wrote. Underwood penned eight of the 14 songs on that album including "Two Black Cadillacs," "See You Again," "Cupid's Got A Shotgun" and "Wine After Whiskey." "Good Girl" was the album's breakout single, reaching No. 1 on the charts.

"With all that talent, the upcoming album is sure to be one fans won't want to miss. Underwood's songwriting skills combined with her singing talents should make a great follow-up to 'Blown Away.'"

You just have to wonder if, by the time it's finished, will Mike still be around to hear it.
