iPad & iPhone App Symphonica Teaches You To Be A Conductor

Square Enix makers of video games such as Final Fantasy, Tomb Raider, Dragon Quest, Kingdom Hearts, Hitman, Deus Ex and Thief have moved their operations onto the handheld and tablet market by not only transferring their popular franchises like Final Fantasy to the field but by coming up with new content to utilize this technology.

Currently available in Apple's App Store for free on the iPad, Symphonica by Square Enix is a game that allows the player to be a conductor.

In Symphonica one takes on the persona of "Takt," an inspiring young conductor who is trying to make it to the apex of the classical world.

Set in the fictional city of "Einsatz," "Takt," embarks on a conducting journey through the city's premier music venue "Concerto Tower." There he will traverse all levels of the building until he reaches the pinnacle known as the "King Hall."

The game utilizes touch screen technology and one performs various techniques by tapping, swiping and pinching the surface of the screen.

Symphonica has a vibrant tutorial that allows the player to easily transition from the basic to the advance in virtually a single go.

One customer said. "I've cleared through the free portion of the game so far; however, I think this is a really fun game, and I enjoy the unique taps, swipes, pinch and slide mechanics. The music is great, especially if you're a fan of classical music, as I am."

The game requires patrons to pay for chapters as the level progress for all 12 chapters plus bonus content one can end up paying as much as $14.99.

This Square Enix app features the musical styling of composers such as Beethoven and has around 50 recognizable songs, 20 full performances and approximately 30 rehearsal pieces including Dvorak's New World Symphony.
