Nexus 10 Release Date, Specs & Price Confirmed

Apple's iPad line can be in for some real competition as Samsung prepare to reenter the tablet world with its new Nexus 10.

The new hardware will be made available according to gizmodo in the Google Play Store in the U.S., U.K., Australia, France, Germany, Spain, Canada and Japan starting Nov. 11.

The Nexus 10 will come in two versions, the 16 GB that will cost the consumer $400 while the 32 GB model will be set at $500.

In terms of look the Nexus 10 is lighter than iPad and is only 1.33 pounds as opposed to the iPad that weigh in at 1.44lbs. It sports two cameras and has a 5 megapixel sensor at the back according to gizmodo.

The device also has mircoUSB and microHDMI ports along with Wi-Fi and In terms of audio the Nexus will carry two frontward facing speakers.

Nexus 10 boasts a dual-core 1.7GHz Samsung Exnyos processor and will have a quad-core GPU and it will have 2 GB of RAM. The new hardware from from the South Korea based company will have a 10-inch 2660x1600 retina display and will have over four million pixels giving it 300 pixels per inch sliding pass the iPad, that only has 264 pixels per inch.

Another dynamic feature to the Nexus is that it is more PC familiar than Apple's iPad line. Users of the device will realize that they can set up various accounts on one device like on a computer allowing the device to be shareable instead of linear account of the iPad this in part to Android 4.2. Another feature come in the form of Miracast which will allow consumers to transmit various multimedia to a television with a wireless adapter.
