Warning Spoilers Follow: There is no new episode of Arrow on tonight, but that doesn't mean that we don’t have any new Arrow news for you. The Arrowverse is constantly expanding and with it comes new characters from the DCU. Earlier in the year we met Barry Allen, the man who will become the Flash. Now a few new characters from The Flash spin-off will be showing up in Starling City in next week’s all new episode. Check the report below to see how we are getting closer and closer to a Teen Titans formation, with Roy Harper shaping up to become Arsenal. Now is looking like Summer Glau’s character,Isabel Rochev, is really Slade Wilson’s daughter, Ravager.
Next week’s all new episode of Arrow is titled “The Man Under the Hood,” however, the name was kept under wraps for a long time until its recent reveal. Marc Guggenheim has since told Collider about some of the episode’s secrets:
“The reason I’ve been holding off on Tweeting the title page for Episode 19 is that 19 is co-written by Geoff Johns, Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti, the team behind The Flash, and I felt like, if I Tweeted that, the jig would be up. Little did I know, the jig would get out itself. But Danielle Panabaker, who plays Caitlin, and Carlos Valdes, who plays Cisco, two members of Star Labs that are part of the regular cast of The Flash, do make an important appearance in Episode 19 of Arrow. This was something that really came about because Barry was in a coma at the end of Episode 9 and that made it impossible for Barry to appear in Episode 19 or 20 of Arrow. He’s gotta stay in a coma until October of next year. But, the idea of bringing in those characters really appealed to us because it allowed us to honor our original intention that we had at the beginning of the year, to do something Flash-related in Episode 19 or 20, without having comatose Barry and paying Grant Gustin a lot of money to sit around with his eyes closed, unconscious for the whole episode.”
The following episode is titled ”Seeing Red,” which implies that Roy Harper will take some steps to become the Red Arrow, A.K A. Arsenal.
Meanwhile, new leaked images from the set have shown up on PUNKDimagies.com that show what appears to be Summer Glau dressed as Ravager. In last week’s episode, it was revealed that Glau’s character, Isabel Rochev, was working with Slade Wilson.
In the comics, Rochev is a crazy industrialist who was in love with The Green Arrow’s father, Robert Queen. Could the show be combining the two character? Check out the pictures and let us know what you think?
